I’m puerto rican. My padres don’t speak much spanish. My abuelos thought it would be better if they didn’t introduce them to spanish so that english would be their first language and life in America would be easier for them. I know simple phrases like; I’m hungry, How are you, When’s your birthday?, etc. But….I want to be fluent. Any suggestions on how to learn spanish quickly and isn’t expensive? I wanted the Rosetta Stone but the price is unbelieveable. Please help. Gracias. =)
Amer. Fork Learning Center open for the school year
The Utah County Fair is over, there has been a hint of fall in the air, school children have begun a new year and the Learning Center in the basement of the American Fork Public Library is again open.
There are many styles available and a lot of no-cost learn Spanish online websites offer extended versions to supplement what they offer. oviesfiles.com
The Spanish software does not have to be the best because I already speak French, but for Arabic I will need a very good software because I will not be able to tell if it’s effective or not.
I tried some software, but I hated how I had to pronounce the words impossibly to move on to the next lesson. I’m fairly confident that I can pronounce words, I mainly want an immersion program that will build my vocabulary so I can help poor people in Mexico. I need something fun, and quick, a video game would be perfect.Also PS2 compatible DVD would be good.

I’m not a native speaker of Spanish, so I would like to know how difficult it is to acquire the ability to pronounce Spanish words as accurately as do native speakers. Ideally I would be able to get rid of my American accent, but seeing as how many non-native speakers of English have an accent when speaking English, I’m afraid I won’t be able to get rid of my American accent when speaking Spanish.
